Texas law sets a maximum fee for each notarial act. These are posted here as required, and quoted to you before any appointment.

Good to know Notarial-act fees above are the maximums allowed by Texas law — notaries are free to charge less, and these are strictly enforced. Travel, after-hours, and loan-signing fees aren't set by statute, so I'll always confirm the exact total with you before the appointment. Travel and convenience fees are itemized separately from statutory notarial fees on every invoice, and a written, itemized receipt is provided for every visit.
